Hi,
I think a course about religion or about the Bible can be theoretically taught in public schools without any constitutional problems, as long as the instruction is objective, inclusive, and balanced.

I also don't think teaching Bible is good idea. And it also should not be compulsory at all. Because it's not necessary that all students belongs to same religion.

The same might be said about public-school courses on the Bible nationwide. There aren't that many. But they're rising in popularity.

Somehow the Other's religion is neuroscience, to be imposed on rowdy children to make them serene. Thanks, Hollywood liberals.

Bible is a fact of life in western culture. Even if we are not ourselves Christian, we should understand the religious beliefs that are motivating the majority of our fellow citizens.

They also teach little kids to be just as messed up as they are in all the public schools, so what happens? The entire country is officially screwed." Schools teach kids tolerence. They don't tell them to BECOME homosexual, they simply express that it's wrong to discriminate against them.
